Prerequisites
This series of classes requires basic knowledge of fi ber optic theory and terminology, as well as fi eld experience, equivalent formal training such as the Fiber Optics 1-2-3 course, or viewing the Light Brigade Staff Development DVD set.
Course Content
This course is focused to network designers, network planners, supervisors, and project managers that will be involved in deploying and maintaining FTTH networks. Students will gain a broad base of knowledge and familiarity with FTTH architecture, network design, deployment technology, and operational skills. This classroom format features 16 hours of classroom training with an experienced FTTH instructor. The online study program is comprised of 16 modules that allow the student to grasp key concepts at their own pace and gauge their mastery through knowledge questions.
